About KC Bougard:
KC has worked with Hawaii’s diverse children and families for over 15 years. Her primary interests are in helping children and adolescents with developmental and mental health challenges build resiliency and empowerment. As an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, she has practiced in clinical and managerial leadership roles in both academic and inpatient behavioral health settings. Her practice is focused on patient-centered, strengths-based and evidence-based care principles. KC received her nursing degree and master’s degree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Aware of the many barriers to access and coordination of behavioral health care in Hawaii, she has joined the interdisciplinary team at the Kahala Clinic for Children & Family to collaborate in supporting the mission to offer comprehensive behavioral health assessments and treatments for children and their families. As a parent of three young children, KC knows both personally and professionally that partnering with parents, schools, and community resources is critical to the successful outcomes we want for our children.
